Proskill Workforce Pte Ltd invites applications for a Worksite Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to oversee safety compliance at our Tuas construction site in Singapore. The role supports the WSH Manager with inspections, risk assessments and safety program implementation.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Engineering or in Workplace Safety & Health, at least 5 years of WSH experience, and MOM registration.

Qualificações

• Diploma in Engineering or similar in safety-related field.
• Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a WSHO, preferably on construction sites.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site safety audits and inspections with timely corrective actions.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and evaluate effectiveness of safety measures.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and safe work procedures; suggest safety improvements.
• Assist WSH Manager in investigating incidents and preparing reports.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and authorities on safety matters.
• Monitor safety findings and ensure timely closure; ensure infection prevention measures.
• Promote a positive safety culture through training and awareness initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Reporting Manager.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to oversee workplace safety and health compliance at a construction site in Tuas. The successful candidate will assist the WSH Manager in implementing safety measures, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with relevant WSH regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety audits and inspections, identify safety violations and ensure timely corrective actions by contractors.

• Identify potential workplace hazards, assess risks and evaluate the effectiveness of contractors' risk control measures.

• Review contractors' method statements, risk assessments and safe work procedures, and recommend appropriate safety measures.

• Assist the WSH Manager in investigating workplace incidents, preparing reports and recommending preventive measures.

• Liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants and relevant authorities on workplace safety matters.

• Monitor and follow up on safety inspection findings to ensure compliance and timely closure.

• Ensure compliance with applicable workplace health, safety and infection prevention measures.

• Promote a positive safety culture through safety awareness, training and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a WSH Officer, preferably in the construction industry.

• Must be a MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO).

• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, risk assessments and construction site safety practices.

• Able to manage and coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors and consultants.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Able to meet deadlines and report effectively to the WSH Manager.

• Comfortable working at a construction site in Tuas.

• Able to commence work from mid-October 2026.
