Job summary

A leading safety consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) for a 2-year contract to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of practical experience, strong knowledge of safety standards, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, delivering training programs, and advising on safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Position: Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) - Substation, Infrastructure Project
Location: Kent Ridge
Duration: 2 year contract, starting Feb 2026

About the Role:
NES Fircroft is seeking a dedicated Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to ensure compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations. The WSHO will play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Advise management and staff on safety procedures, preventive measures, and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.

Requirements:

  • Registered WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
  • Relevant safety and health qualifications and practical experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
