Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with the Senior Manager (EHS) and Head of Project to develop, implement, maintain, and improve the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System and safety culture at the project level.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings, safety briefings, safety inspections, and safety training sessions to promote safety awareness and compliance among workers.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with government agencies and regulatory bodies on all WSH-related matters.
• Manage the reporting and investigation of all incidents, including accidents, near misses, and occupational diseases.
• Identify potential environmental issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Perform other ad‑hoc WSH‑related duties as required under the Workplace Safety and Health Regulations.

Requirements

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction firm.
• Possession of Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) qualification will be an added advantage.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, and proactive, with strong problem-solving and result-oriented capabilities.
• Excellent team player with strong technical competence and good interpersonal and communication skills.
