Job summary

A leading safety consultancy in Singapore is looking for a Registered Safety Officer to ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act. The role involves conducting site inspections, preparing audit reports, and managing safety training programs. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience managing projects and guiding safety teams across multiple contractors. This position is critical for maintaining safety standards and effective communication with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple contractors and guide their WSH team.

Contract Period
  • 02 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2028 (3 Years)
Deployment
  • Mon to Sat: 8 am to 5.30 pm
Scope of Works
  1. Ensure full compliance with WSH Act, relevant regulations, client and contractor in-house requirements; maintain WSH audit procedures according to regulatory and company standards.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits; prepare detailed audit reports; review and update findings; evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
  3. Review or conduct investigations for incidents and near misses; ensure proper reporting and follow-up actions are implemented.
  4. Review and communicate RA and SWP; ensure contractors’ documents are effective, legally compliant, and site-specific; observe toolbox talks and safety meetings for effectiveness.
  5. Conduct documentation reviews; support the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, documentation controls, and safety campaigns.
  6. Support delivery of WSH training; liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, and authorities (MOM, SCDF); carry out any additional WSH duties assigned by the client.
Requirements

  • Able to handle Multiple contractors and guide their WSH Team.
