A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Environmental Control Officer to assist in implementing safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and necessary certifications. Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an environmental control role, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- MOM-registered WSH Coordinator and NEA-registered Environmental Control Officer certifications are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementation and improvement of the Integrated Management System.
- Monitor work sites for compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct safety audits and promote a strong safety culture.
- Investigate safety incidents and propose corrective actions.

- Location: Location: Tampines / Woodlands (This position will be based at the project site and will require travel between the two locations as needed.)
- Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri: 8am to 5:30pm, Sat: 8am to 12:00pm)

Job Description:
- Assist in the implementation, review, and continuous improvement of the company’s Integrated Management System.
- Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and ISO standards.
- Conduct regular site safety audits, toolbox meetings, and promotional programs to foster a strong safety culture.
- Investigate all safety incidents, prepare reports, and propose corrective actions for management review.
- Ensure all safety-related certifications, permits, and documentation are up to date and maintained.
- Coordinate and participate in risk assessments and ensure bridging documentation meets project specifications.
- Recommend and apply reasonably practicable control measures for all identified EHS risks.Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an environmental control or environmental management role, preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- MOM-registered WSH Coordinator and NEA-registered Environmental Control Officer certifications are mandatory
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or high-tech facility environments (e.g., semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centers)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, WSH Act, and other applicable regulations
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment
