A leading construction safety firm in Singapore is seeking a Workplace Safety and Health Officer to enforce safety regulations across projects. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in similar roles and holds a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, liaising with authorities, and supporting project teams. Strong observation and problem-solving skills are essential.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Reports to WSHO-Team Lead
• Responsible for enforcing the overall Workplace Safety Health (WSH) for all projects
• Liaise closely with the Project Team on WSH to maintain high level of safety and housekeeping
• Prepare, organize and implement safe work procedures and measures in accordance with MOM Regulations
• Conduct daily safety and health inspection at worksites
• Liaise with MOM and other relevant authorities on all WSH matters such as notification & investigation of accidents
• Develop documentation for the Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures
• Support Project Team in the coordination of project activities

Job Requirements:

• Min 3 years in similar position
• Min WSQ Advanced Certificate/Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent
• Experienced in construction worksites
• Must be able to conduct site inspections
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work independently
• Good team player and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills
