About the Client

Our client is a Reputed Bank.

Responsibilities

• Perform Administration and Deployment of Windows Server tasks using VMWare Image
• Perform installation of servers running various versions and vCenter administration. Candidate will be required to work on projects of cloud and Virtualization (VMware)
• Assist the existing team in Monthly weekend Maintenance of Servers (Windows Patching) by distributing the server count among team members. Currently few servers we have automated patching.
• Weekend support for other BAU maintenance activities and project migration support
• Oncall/Standby support for 2 weeks for escalation of alerts and issues out of office hours. Standby support will be evenly rotated among existing team members.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
• 3 years of experience in Administration and Deployment of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022.
• Solid skills in VMWare Administration. Candidate should have good hands‑on experience installing servers running various versions and vCenter administration
• Knowledge of other infrastructure tools and agents (Backup, Monitoring, AV agent etc) part of Server administration
• Strong Hardware knowledge of VXRAIL / Hyper converged technologies and DELL Chassis/Blade server platform.
• Scripting skills using Powershell and YAML/Ansible. Able to automate routine administrative tasks writing scripts and generate reports.
