Job summary

Mastermark Pte Ltd, a Wildlife Management Specialist in Singapore, is seeking an Animal Care Officer. You will care for supervised animals at various sites across Singapore on a roster, including feeding, restraint, and general care tasks.

Working at Choa Chu Kang, you may be assigned to different sites. Requirements include minimum O Level or equivalent, good English, and animal husbandry experience; weekend shifts and optional handling course are noted.

Qualifications

• At least an O Level qualification or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Completed handling course conducted by an accredited or approved training provider will be an added advantage.
• At least 1-year work experience or equivalent in animal husbandry/handling and care.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster basis.
• Vaccinations such as Rabies, Tetanus, Japanese Encephalitis and Influenza are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Distribute food under supervision and according to animal dietary requirements.
• Handle, restrain and move animals.
• Provide basic animal care (e.g. showering, nail trimming, ear cleaning).
• General housekeeping (e.g. moving and arranging supplies) and related work.
