Job summary

Assurity Trusted Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking a WAN Engineer to design, build and evolve secure, high‑performing WAN services across MPLS, SD‑WAN and IPsec VPN.

You will tackle routing, availability and performance challenges, automate key operational tasks and work with internal teams and vendors to own outcomes. You will bring 3–6 years of hands-on network engineering, strong MPLS/SD‑WAN/IPsec VPN knowledge, and experience with Cisco/Juniper platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 3–6 years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise WAN design and operations.
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, SD-WAN, IPsec VPN, TCP/IP and WAN performance concepts.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) and multi-vendor environments.
• Hands-on with Cisco/Juniper routing & switching and SD-WAN platforms.
• Familiarity with observability, telemetry tools and network automation.
• Interest or experience in Network as Code and automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve secure, resilient enterprise WAN services across MPLS, SD-WAN and IPsec VPN.
• Hands-on WAN operations: incident handling, changes, validation and performance tuning.
• Automate configuration generation, pre-change checks, deployment and drift detection.
• Use telemetry to manage latency, jitter, loss, utilisation and availability.

Wide Area Network (WAN) Engineer

Take on a high-impact engineering role at the heart of our digital infrastructure. As a Wide Area Network Engineer, you will design, build and evolve secure, resilient and high-performing WAN services that connect users, systems and locations. You will tackle complex routing,availability and performance challenges, influence technical direction, and turn emerging technologies into reliable operational capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Design, build and continuously improve secure,resilient enterprise WAN services across MPLS, SD-WAN, internet connectivityand IPsec VPN.Perform hands-on, in-house WAN operations, including incident troubleshooting, changeexecution, service validation and performance optimisation.
• Codify network infrastructure and automate key operational tasks such as configurationgeneration, pre-change checks, deployment, compliance validation, backup anddrift detection.
• Use telemetry and monitoring data to manage latency, jitter, packet loss,utilisation, availability and service reliability.
• Explore practical network AI use cases for anomaly detection, event correlation,root-cause analysis, capacity forecasting and troubleshooting support.
• Work with internal teams, vendors and service providers while retaining strong internal engineering ownership of WAN design, operations, automation and outcomes.

What You Will Bring

You will thrive in this role if you combine deep WAN expertise with curiosity, sound engineering judgement and a drive to automate repetitive work.

• At least 3 - 6 years of hands-on network engineering experience, with a strong focus on enterprise WAN design and operations.
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, SD-WAN, IPsec VPN, TCP/IP and WAN performance concepts.
• Practical experience with routing protocols and traffic engineering, including BGP and OSPF, together with route control, redundancy and fault isolation.
• Experience configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper or equivalent routing, switching andSD-WAN platforms.
• Familiarity with network observability, monitoring and telemetry tools, and the ability toturn performance data into action.
• Experienceor strong interest in Network as Code and automation using Python, Ansible,Terraform, APIs, data models and version control.
• An interest in AI-enabled network operations, with the discipline to validaterecommendations, protect operational data and keep appropriate human oversightover production changes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the confidence to work through ambiguity and solve difficult multi-vendor network problems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business and service-provider stakeholders.
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Service Provider or equivalent certifications are advantageous; above all, you bring initiative, resilience and an appetite for continuous learning.
