Job summary

A leading home renovation company in Singapore is seeking a Whole House Designer/Drafter to lead the design process from concept to construction. You will conduct in-depth needs analysis, create tailored design proposals, and collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of residential project experience and proficiency in design software. This role offers an opportunity to shape meaningful projects and work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-suite design experience, preferably in residential projects.
• BCA-certified designers will have an added advantage.
• Familiar with construction standards for HDBs, condominiums, and landed homes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth needs analysis through interviews and surveys.
• Produce Client Needs Reports tailored to family structure.
• Ensure design scopes comply with Singapore BCA regulations.
• Create 2–3 style concepts and develop detailed construction drawings.
• Oversee the design transition into site execution.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team for material compatibility.
• Support Sales Consultants during client discussions.
• Conduct technical briefings with contractors.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-driven, and experienced Whole House Designer/Drafter to lead the full-suite design process — from concept to construction. You’ll be responsible for understanding clients’ lifestyles, developing tailored design proposals, and working closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth needs analysis through interviews, surveys, and site visits
• Produce Client Needs Reports tailored to family structure, lifestyle, and functional requirements
• Ensure all design scopes comply with Singapore BCA regulations and condo/landed housing rules
• Create 2–3 style concepts per project and develop detailed construction drawings
• Ensure consistency across hard finishes, furnishings, and smart home integrations
• Oversee the design transition into site execution, ensuring accuracy and feasibility
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure feasibility and material compatibility
• Work with the Marketing team to curate case studies and showcase portfolio content
• Support Sales Consultants during client discussions and project presentations
• Accompany clients and Materials Specialists for selection of materials and finishes
• Conduct technical briefings with contractors and supervise key construction milestones
• Resolve on-site design-related issues swiftly and professionally

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
2. Minimum 5 years of full-suite design experience, preferably in residential projects
3. BCA-certified designers will have an added advantage
4. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and 3D MAX
5. Knowledge of local building materials and market pricing
6. Familiar with construction standards for HDBs, condominiums, and landed homes
7. Strong verbal and written communication in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients)
