Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced programmer for 5-axis milling. The role involves preparing NC programs, controlling machining cycle times, and collaborating with the MRB team for troubleshooting. Job description

Overview

Responsible for programming and test cut of new products and improvement of existing production parts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NC programs, including tooling design and selection, for 5-axis milling on materials ranging from Aluminium, Titanium to Inconel 718.
• Probe programming for error proofing, datum setting, dimension check etc.
• Control of machining cycle time within target including all in-machine activities such as probing, machining, appropriate cutter checks etc.
• Control overall costs for machining taking into consideration cycle time and cost of cutters.
• Work with the MRB team for troubleshooting of non-conformance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in 5-axis programming using Mastercam.
• Knowledge of 5-axis Machining, Macro Programs, Error Proofing and Machine Codes
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Frequent travelling may be required for test cut in overseas subsidiaries.
