Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, layouts and work orders to plan the welding process.
• Operate TIG, MIG, ARC, or SMAW welding tools and related equipment.
• Clean surfaces, cut and align parts using clamps or calipers.
• Join structural components, sheet metals or pipes in multiple positions.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws or weak joints.
• Follow strict safety rules and wear appropriate protective gear.
