Job summary

Maybell Quantum in Singapore is seeking a Welding Technician to help build and fabricate highly complex hardware for quantum systems. You will perform orbital welds and TIG-welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and copper, working with CNC tube bending equipment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on assembly skills, 3+ years in manufacturing, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity while contributing to continuous improvements and production documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing or production environment
• 1+ years weld / fab shop experience
• Hands-on assembly and fabrication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform orbital welds
• Hand-held TIG-welding of stainless steel, aluminum, copper
• Operate CNC tube benders to bend stainless steel, aluminum, copper tubes
• Cutting, facing, prepping and tacking of metal components
• Identify and elevate manufacturing quality and organizational systems improvements
• Support continuous improvement efforts
• Support work instructions and production documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Optional - leak test welded components via Helium Leak Detector experience
