Job summary

A waste management company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to oversee weighbridge operations and security supervision. You will ensure accurate weight reporting, supervise security team duties, and manage operational compliance. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, familiarity with weighbridge software, and hold a valid Singapore PLRD Security License. Flexibility to work shifts is essential.

Job description

Responsibilities

Oversee daily weighbridge operations and ensure all vehicle weights (incoming and outgoing) are accurately recorded in the system.

Verify and cross-check delivery orders, dispatch notes, or waste disposal slips before authorizing vehicle movement.

Ensure all vehicle details (driver name, registration number, product type, weight, and time) are correctly entered in the weighbridge log/system.

Identify and report any discrepancies in load weights or irregular transactions.

Maintain the weighbridge and related equipment in good working condition; promptly report any malfunctions or faults.

Security Supervision

Supervise and coordinate the duties of the security team to ensure proper coverage and effective performance.

Oversee shift deployment and ensure adherence to site access control procedures.

Conduct checks on visitors and contractors entering and exiting the premises.

Monitor CCTV and perform regular patrols to identify security breaches, unsafe acts, or irregular activities.

Investigate and report incidents involving theft, trespassing, or safety/security violations.

Liaise with management and external parties (e.g., contractors, drivers) on security-related matters.

Administration & Reporting

Prepare and submit daily weighbridge transaction reports and security occurrence logs.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and management review purposes.

Ensure compliance with company HSSE policies and procedures.

Assist in emergency response coordination and drills when required.

Requirements

At least 1 years of experience in weighbridge operations and/or security supervision.

Familiar with weighbridge software and basic computer skills (MS Excel, data entry).

Possess a valid PLRD Security License (Singapore).

Strong communication, integrity, and leadership skills.
