Job summary

Tencent International Service Pte. Ltd. in Singapore invites motivated undergraduates to join WeChat’s operations team as a paid, full-time intern for a minimum of 12 weeks.

You will work on data-driven projects and collaborate across product, engineering, and legal teams to deliver features. Based in Singapore, you will gain hands-on experience with large-scale data, cutting-edge tech, and mentorship from senior team members.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong sense of ownership, customer‑oriented mindset, and integrity.
• Fast learner and team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel and fluency with SQL and Python is a plus.
• Prior work or internship experience in the internet industry is preferred.
• Require bilingual proficiency as communications and materials are regularly shared in both English and Mandarin with the global and China HQ teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify business problems through data analytics and propose data‑driven solutions
• Support the Product Team in analyzing current operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to enhance WeChat's user experience and growth
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement process improvements that align with product goals
• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to ensure timely delivery
