Job summary

OCBC Singapore is seeking a Wealth Management Funds Services Team Lead to steer daily operations across orders placement and trade settlement for mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds. The role emphasizes risk control, process improvement, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

The successful candidate will have a degree in business/finance or accounting, at least 7 years in funds processing, hands-on settlement experience, and proven communication skills to influence multiple teams

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Banking/Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of funds order placement and settlement experience, preferably in private banking.
• A strong team player with a can-do attitude and ability to speak for the team and influence them.
• Must possess hands-on ability to perform trade processing and settlements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong knowledge in private banking system infrastructures and regulatory requirements.
• Able to perform under limited supervision.
• Able to make sound and independent decisions in resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fund Services Team across orders placement and trade settlement (Across Mutual Funds / Hedge Funds / Private Equity Funds)
• Ensure operational efficiency and minimal level of operational risk
• Provide guidance as point of escalation on proper resolution of issue
• Provide operation representation in all new product implementations
• Conduct regular review of existing processes and procedures to ensure maximum operational efficiency and controls are watertight.
• Drive the initiation and implementation of new processes and workflow
• Undertake and lead ad hoc projects and initiatives (e.g. UAT, system upgrade, etc)
