Main Duties
Technical operations include:
- Dismantling and reassembly of watch cases and bracelets, including exchange of worn or damaged components i.e. seals, pushers, crowns, crystals etc.
- Movement exchange, with dial & hands setting
- Basic movement servicing, quartz, 3-hands etc.
- De-casing and re-casing watch movements
- Polishing and refinishing watch components to brand standards.
- Conducting water-resistance tests to ensure product integrity.
- Performing timing controls, including movement regulation and precision testing.
- Executing final quality control checks to ensure compliance with Breitling’s standards of excellence.
- Any other duties as requested or instructed by the Workshop Supervisor.
Breitling specific training will be provided; career progression and other relevant opportunities will be offered according to the applicant’s skillset.
Responsibilities
- ERP systems are used correctly, aligned with the repair process.
- Designated service requirements are completed according to repair order.
- Assigned tasks are conducted to Breitling standards, following company guidelines.
- Lead time objectives and individual productivity KPI’s are achieved.
- Company regulations and safety guidelines are respected.
- Promote Breitling values.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Technician certification (or similar) is preferred but not essential.
Experience:
- Previous experience within the watch industry or a related field. Note: Candidates with experience in a similar industry and a desire to work in watch servicing will be considered.
- Knowledge / interest in Swiss watchmaking.
Personal skills:
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- High levels of concentration.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, well organized and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to manage targets and deadlines.
