Job summary

An environmental solutions group in Singapore is seeking a candidate in sales/business development with expertise in hazardous and toxic waste management. Responsibilities include developing strategies, managing client relationships, and leading business development activities. Candidates should have a minimum Diploma in a related field and strong negotiation and client management skills. A vehicle is required for this role. Salary is SGD 7,000 per month plus benefits.

Working Hours

5.5 days per week

Salary Range

SGD 7,000 per month + Annual Commissions +VB + Transport Allowances $500

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market share in hazardous/toxic waste management.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships across industrial, marine, and commercial sectors.
  • Lead end-to-end business development activities, including proposals, tenders, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and technical teams to deliver compliant, client-focused solutions.
  • Stay ahead of environmental regulations (NEA, IMO, Basel Convention) and ensure offerings are aligned.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and high-level client engagements.
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts, sales reports, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Gather and share market intelligence and competitor insights.
Requirements
  • Min Diploma in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales/business development, with background in waste management.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • MUST possess own vehicle
