The incumbent is responsible for leading and supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate inbound and outbound activities, coordinating manpower, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role acts as the key bridge between frontline operators, Executives, and Supervisors to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, storage, and shipment preparation.
  • Allocate manpower, monitor workflow, and ensure operational readiness of staff.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate when required.
  • Maintain warehouse environment, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with 6S standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely batch inbound and outbound processing.
  • Conduct and verify daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, damages, or abnormalities.
  • Support root‑cause investigations for stock variances.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Purchasing, Customer Support, and other internal departments.
  • Ensure warehouse activities align with production schedules and customer priorities.
  • Communicate changes in schedules, material requirements, and operational priorities.
  • Identify workflow improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Review improvement suggestions from frontline staff and support implementation where appropriate.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, quality standards, and audit requirements.
  • Support training and development of new or existing warehouse staff.
  • Monitor operational KPIs such as throughput, labour hours, productivity, and quality rates.
  • Assist in preparing operational reports and manpower utilisation summaries.
  • Maintain timely and accurate updates in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Act as a communication bridge between operators and supervisors/management.
  • Communicate customer instructions clearly to ensure operational accuracy.
  • Gather frontline staff feedback and assist in resolving operational issues.
Role Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations; team lead experience is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, and batch handling.
  • Proficient in Windows applications and ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to lead, guide, and motivate teams.
  • Ability to work independently and make operational decisions under pressure.
  • Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to perform well in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Adaptable to workload fluctuations, production changes, and urgent customer requirements.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects to support warehouse activities when required.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership mindset, and positive working attitude.
  • Willing to support overtime or shift work during peak periods, when necessary.
