Assistant Warehouse Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our logistics team in Yishun. You will assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations supporting hospital equipment and supplies across Singapore. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and smooth team coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Supervise and coordinate the warehouse team: assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure on-time execution.
  • Enforce safety, cleanliness, and inventory control procedures in line with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and goods movement within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct and support regular stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues such as order discrepancies, delays, or team conflicts.
  • Plan and optimize space utilization for efficient warehouse layout and storage.
  • Assist in training and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
  • Monitor usage of equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance or repairs as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager (SCM).
Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
  • A forklift license or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
