Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, inbound/outbound logistics, and distribution coordination.
- Lead, train, and supervise a warehouse team to ensure high performance, teamwork, and adherence to company standards.
- Ensure proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and organization of inventory to support efficient picking, packing, and timely dispatch.
- Supervise and participate in the loading/unloading of containers and vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely and stored correctly.
- Monitor stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock checks, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, reinforcing safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Implement and improve warehouse SOPs and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, on-time dispatch, stock variance) and report performance to management.
- Work closely with the sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination of customer orders and stock replenishment.
- Support the implementation and usage of warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize inventory and order tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Perform all other tasks or ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations, preferably within Wholesale/Retail or FMCG industries.
- Strong leadership with a hands-on, proactive approach and ability to motivate a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse systems (WMS/ERP), inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
