Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse.
• Ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Prepare customers' orders for deliveries.
• Organize and maintain Goods Inventory records.
• Effectively deploy Storekeepers in daily work assignments.
• Monitor Storekeepers' adherence to work hours and breaks.
• Safely store goods in the correct Cold-room location.
• Recommend measures to improve service quality.
• Continuously improve warehouse operations.
• Maintain good records for work activities and equipment.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• The warehouse supervisor has to supervise all the work that goes on in the warehouse.
• He has to coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on the delivery/receiving date and make arrangements for the goods to be stored away.
• He has to train workers in the work procedures and monitor the workers carry out the work correctly.
• He has to ensure that safety & security measures for the warehouse is at the highest standard.
• Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations. Ensure all Storekeepers follow Work Safe Practices.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse.
• To ensure all Reach trucks & equipment are in good working condition.
• Able to coordinate daily work activities & prepare all customers’ orders for deliveries.
• Organize and maintain Goods Inventory records and maximize storage areas.
• Plan & Organize to deploy Storekeepers in their daily work assignments effectively.
• Monitor & supervise daily work activities. Ensure all Storekeepers follow strictly to working hours & break-time.
• They have to arrange for the goods to be unloaded and safely stored away in the correct Cold-room location.
• Recommend & implement measures to improve quality of service. Increase efficiency & good communication between inter-departments.
• Continuously improve warehouse operations through correct work and safe practices.
• Maintain good recording keeping for work activities & equipment.
• To perform any other ad-hoc duties as & when required by Superior.
