Driving and logistics:
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle.
- Drive trucks or vans to transport items to and from vendors, customers, or other locations.
- Ensure all goods are properly secured during transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to traffic laws and follow specific delivery routes and schedules.
Warehouse duties:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and orders.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Assist with inventory control, including stock checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment
General tasks:
- Perform occasional ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to safety, security, and quality control.
- Communicate efficiently with clients and suppliers.
Requirements and qualifications
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is often a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina, as the role may require lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
