Job summary

PPG is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Singapore to support materials movement, receiving, shipping, and inventory control across production and customer sites. The role emphasizes basic computer literacy, physical effort, and adherence to EHS policies.

Responsibilities include receiving, production support, cycle counts, and documentation in QAD/HMM systems. Experience with chemical environments and Class 3 DG is a plus; forklift license is preferred.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC with minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, freight forwarding and logistics in the Chemicals industry.
• Good to have : Aerospace background
• Preferably with a valid forklift license.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Have basic computer knowledge skills
• Able to work under minimal supervision, possesses initiative and willing to learn attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Supervisor in Receiving, Production Support, Shipping & Inventory Management.
• Receiving - unloading, inspecting, receiving, sampling and locating all ingredients, packing and finished product that arrives at the plant.
• Production support - ensuring continuous supply of ingredients and packaging to production and filling lines.
• Inventory management - perform cycle counts, complete reconciliations, monitor inventory transactions, sort out inventory issues as they arise.
• Proper documentation/filing and goods receiving of delivered items to warehouse in the online system (QAD, HMM).
• Multitasking between packing, picking and receiving tasks.
• Previous experience operating VNA will be advantages.
• Experience in unstuffing pallets, crates and cartons from container.
• Experience working in a chemical environment handling Class 3 Dangerous Goods and packing for overseas Air Shipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping in warehouse area using Lean system (eg. 5S, FIFO, RCA).
• Strict compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements about Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.
