Warehouse/Operation Manager (Event Industry)

The Warehouse/Operation Manager at CT Singapore plays a key role in overseeing all warehouse and logistics operations to support the successful delivery of events and technical projects. This role is responsible for the daily management of inventory, equipment movement, logistics coordination, and warehouse staff, while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a hands‑on approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operations, Warehouse and Inventory Control
  • Manage day‑to‑day operational workflows across warehouse, logistics, and technical support functions.
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, and equipment returns.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and systematic inventory checks for equipment.
  • Regular communication with operations technical team on equipment status and arrangement for upkeep, maintenance and repairs when needed.
  • Monitor equipment movement and implement accurate labelling systems for efficient tracking.
  • Plan and organize warehouse work schedules and ensure timely kit preparation and dispatch.
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure the warehouse complies with health, safety, and fire prevention regulations.
  • Continuously monitor and improve operational efficiency, focusing on resource utilisation and workflow optimisation.
Logistics & Shipping
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Manage the stuffing and unstuffing of containers and supervise handling of sensitive AVL equipment.
  • Track and verify all incoming and outgoing shipments against shipping documents.
  • Ensure timely and cost‑effective transportation arrangements to support event timelines.
  • Supervise logistics planning including transport arrangements, crew deployment, equipment transfers, and sub‑rentals.
Process & Compliance
  • Develop and implement SOPs for operations, logistics, and warehouse procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Manage risk assessments, method statements, and operational documentation where necessary.
Project Support
  • Collaborate with the Project Managers on event setups and teardowns timing schedules.
  • Monitor kit and equipment planning to maximise utilisation and minimise freight costs.
  • Support equipment shortages and provide timely solutions in collaboration with the project team.
  • Lead warehouse support for local event deployments as required.
Team Management & Reporting
  • Supervise and schedule the warehouse assistant to meet operational needs.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance oversight to the warehouse assistant.
  • Delegate routine and delicate tasks to the warehouse assistant and request assistance as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with the warehouse assistant to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Support planning and resource allocation with consideration of both crew and kit readiness.
  • Proactively report operational and warehouse issues to management.
  • Maintain clear communication with management and various departments at all times.
Job Requirements
  • Sector‑specific experience in event production, AV, logistics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or technical production operations preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities; attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with inventory or asset management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends or evenings when required.
  • A valid Class 3 or 4 Singapore driver’s licence is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: able to manage a team and interact across departments and with external vendors.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and high‑value equipment with care.
