Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to ensure the smooth loading and unloading of goods. The role requires handling goods safely, providing timely local delivery, and maintaining warehouse housekeeping. Candidates should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience and possess a Class 3 or 4 driving license. This position is based in Jurong / Joo Koon area.

Qualifications

• Preferably have at least 1 - 3 years of working experience.
• Willing to work in Jurong / Joo Koon area.

Skills

Basic Knowledge in Microsoft office

Job description

Working hours Mon to Fri – 9am to 5.45pm

Job Scope

• Assist in loading and unloading of goods. Ensure loading and unloading of containers run smoothly, completing on time.
• To record down the Year of Manufacture of goods received.
• To ensure safe and proper handling of goods, including proper storage and based on First In First Out principle.
• To perform random stock checks and year-end stock count.
• To assist and follow-up upon procedures as and when required by management.
• Provide local delivery
• Timely delivery of goods
• Ensure that goods are delivered in good condition without delay or damages
• To ensure accuracy of goods delivered to customers’ tally with Delivery Orders and Invoices issued.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of warehouse / vehicles at all times.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications

• Primary/Secondary School/O Level, Higher Secondary/Pre-U/'A' Level, Professional Certificate/NiTEC
• Preferably have at least 1 -3 Year(s) of working experience
• Class 3 or 4 driving licence is very much preferred
• Possess a forklift license
• Basic Knowledge in Microsoft office
• Willing to work in Jurong / Joo Koon area
