Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound processes, proper inventory control, and compliance with customs and HS code regulations. This role also manages coordination with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient and cost‑effective distribution and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end‑to‑end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Manage and monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and system updates.
- Ensure all import/export shipments are properly classified under correct HS codes and comply with customs requirements.
- Liaise with 3PL partners for transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Plan warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and maintain safety, security, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse KPIs (e.g. order accuracy, lead time, storage cost).
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
- Support audits and prepare monthly warehouse reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for smooth supply chain flow.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of HS code classification and customs documentation.
- Experience working with 3PL providers and managing contracts or service SLAs.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
