Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse cum Logistics Assistant to support the daily operations of our warehouse and logistics functions. This position will involve overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate stock management, and facilitating the smooth movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing goods within the warehouse. Ensure all items are correctly labeled, stored in the appropriate locations, and easy to retrieve when needed.
• Inventory Management: Perform regular stock checks and ensure that all inventory records are up to date and accurate. Help with the tracking and reporting of stock levels.
• Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking, packing, and dispatching goods in line with customer orders and business requirements. Ensure that items are packed securely to avoid damage during transit.
• Logistics Support: Coordinate transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with carriers and transport teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Shipment Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, including shipping labels, packing lists, and inventory reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Stock Audits: Assist with periodic inventory audits and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following all safety protocols and best practices.
• Returns Processing: Handle returned goods, ensuring they are processed, restocked, or disposed of according to company guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as customer service, sales, and procurement, to ensure smooth operations and efficient logistics management.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehousing preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, including knowledge of stock management and order fulfillment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in warehouse and logistics operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift license or experience operating warehouse machinery (if applicable).
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Familiarity with customs and international shipping regulations (if applicable).
