A leading organic food company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations including storing, picking, packing, and delivering organic produce. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of warehouse experience, a Class 3 License, and strong problem-solving skills. This role requires collaboration with other departments and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all warehouse operations, including storing, picking, packing and delivering of organic fresh produce
  2. Utilize warehouse management systems and other software to track inventory and performance
  3. Assist in the investigation of any discrepancies or damages and implement corrective actions
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery
  5. Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment in compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  6. Perform other duties as assisgned by the Warehouse Manger
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably within the fresh procedure or food industry
  2. Class 3 Licenses needed
  3. Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a warehouse setting
  4. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics
  5. Knowledge of proper handling and storage requirements for fresh produce, ideally organic
  6. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a food handling environment
  7. Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, and to stand and walk for extended periods
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  9. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
