PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a warehouse assistant to unload pallets at Bulim Street, perform inbound and outbound verification, and manage put-away and picking tasks with reach truck assistance.

The role requires forklift and reach truck experience, scanning proficiency, and precise stock counting. Overtime is offered up to $500 per month, with a 5.5-day work week and daytime hours.

Job description

Location: Bulim Street.

Working Hours: 5.5-day work week (Mon-Fri: 8:30am - 5:30pm// Sat: 8:30am - 12pm)

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets from incoming containers using a forklift.
• Conduct inbound verification through visual checks or scanning methods.
• Execute break-bulk procedures from mixed SKU pallets or cartons.
• Perform put-away tasks to selective racking or shelving; requires operation of a reach truck for selective racking.
• Pick items from selective racking or shelving; requires operation of a reach truck for selective racking.
• Carry out outbound verification through visual checks or scanning methods.
• Pack multiple items into cartons for shipment.
• Conduct stock counts and identify discrepancies as necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping according to directives from the direct supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre-inspections of relevant material handling equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks.
• Promptly report any irregularities to the direct supervisor.

Requirements

• Certification as a forklift driver.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a warehouse assistant.
• Experience operating both forklifts and reach trucks.
• Proficient in scanning operations regardless of the system.
• Ability to respond quickly and report irregularities.
• Strong attention to accuracy in counting and verification.
• Committed to completing tasks within set turnaround times.
• Adherence to established procedures is essential.
• Experience in continuous improvement activities is an added advantage.
• Willing to work overtime (up to additional $500 per month)
