Job description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team! The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for operating forklift and material handling equipment, and ensuring efficiency in receiving cargoes, storage and out-going cargoes.

Duties

1. Operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) to carry out operations in both indoor and outdoor environment
2. Stuff & unstuff / load & unload of cargoes by operating a forklift or any other MHE
3. Check, prepare and verify incoming and outgoing cargoes using a handheld device and tally sheet
4. Put-away the cargoes in designated area or storage racking
5. Pick the right cargoes and perform quality inspection according to the picking list
6. Provide OJT to new Warehouse Assistant
7. Perform tally and stock count of cargoes against quantities and descriptions given
8. Check forklift or any other material handling equipment daily. Report any deficiencies to superior
9. Perform housekeeping at the operations areas

Requirements

• Possess Forklift license
• At least 1 year of forklift driving experience
• Willing to work in Jurong Island
• Willing to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Perform overtime as and when required

Others

• Working hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 5.00pm; Saturday: 8.00am to 12.30pm. Saturday OT 12:30pm – 17:00pm

• Daily Dinner subsidy (for overtime work up to 7.30pm and after 7.30pm)
