Job summary

SH COGENT LOGISTICS PTE LTD is seeking a Warehouse Operator to operate forklifts and handle cargo indoors and outdoors. You will load, unload, and verify cargoes, put away items in designated areas, and perform quality checks against picking lists.

The role includes training new Warehouse Assistants, daily equipment checks, stock counts, and strict adherence to SOPs. A forklift licence is required, and overtime is possible, with a 5.5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Possess forklift licence (5 tonnes and below).
• Willing to perform overtime when required.
• Willing to work a 5.5 days work week.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other MHE to carry out operations in both indoor and outdoor environment.
• Load and unload cargoes by operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Check, prepare and verify incoming and outgoing cargoes using handheld device and tally sheet.
• Put away cargoes in designated area or storage racking.
• Pick right cargoes and perform quality inspection according to the picking list.
• Provide on-the-job training to new Warehouse Assistants.
• Perform tally and stock count of cargoes against quantities and descriptions.
• Check forklift or other MHE daily and report any deficiencies to superior.
• Maintain housekeeping at the operations areas.
• Comply with SOPs.

2. Stuff & unstuff / load & unload of cargoes in & out of designated areas by operating a forklift or any other material handling equipment

3. Check, prepare and verify incoming and outgoing cargoes including use of handheld device and tally sheet

4. Put-away the cargoes in designated area or storage racking

5. Pick the right cargoes and perform quality inspection according to the picking list

6. Provide OJT to new Warehouse Assistant

7. Perform tally and stock count of cargoes against quantities and descriptions given

8. Check forklift or any other material handling equipment daily. Report any deficiencies to superior

9. Perform housekeeping at the operations areas

10. Comply to SOPs

1. Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm; Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm.
