Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support airfreight operations. Responsibilities include updating checklists, scanning documents, and liaising with customs for import clearance. The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding and must possess a valid Class 3 driver's license. This position offers a salary range of S$2,200 – S$2,500 per month.

Warehouse Assistant (Class 3, Freight Forwarding)

Position: Warehouse Assistant – Airfreight
Location: Changi Cargo Agents Building
Salary: S$2,200 – S$2,500 per month

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update warehouse checklists and provide clearance status updates.

Accurately scan and upload TDN documents into the internal system.

Upload PODs promptly to ensure complete delivery records.

Prepare and organize delivery documentation for the handover of import shipments.

Submit CMD documentation for import customs clearance in a timely manner.

Track and monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely arrivals and identify potential delays.

Liaise with the customs clearance team to facilitate and expedite cargo release.

Assist with physical inspection and survey of cargo to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Minimum experience in freight forwarding or air cargo operation.

Valid Class 3 driver’s license required (for travel to terminal to pick up documents or cargo).

Forklift license is a added advantage.
