Job summary

Medtronic Singapore Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a Ship/Rec/Stores Clerk I to support warehouse and material handling for manufacturing and distribution. You will receive, store, issue, and move materials to support production and inventory accuracy, Kanban replenishment, and outbound shipping.

Based onsite in Singapore, you may work day or night shifts to align with 24/7 line operations. The role emphasizes safety, SOPs, and teamwork as you help ensure material availability and smooth

• Support Kanban replenishment to ensure material availability for production.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in designated systems.
• Prepare materials for shipping and assist with outbound shipment processing.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures during material handling.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or equipment issues to supervisors.

A Day in the Life

This role supports the Manufacturing Operations and Distribution function, helping ensure the timely movement, storage, and availability of materials required for production and warehouse activities. The team is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and Kanban support to maintain operational continuity across manufacturing processes.

The position is based in Singapore and follows an onsite work arrangement. Due to planned 24/7 device line operations, this role may support either day shift or night shift activities based on business requirements.

Job Description

The Ship/Rec/Stores Clerk I supports warehouse and material handling operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and moving materials required for manufacturing and distribution activities. This role assists with inventory accuracy, Kanban replenishment, shipping and receiving transactions, and general warehouse operations to help support continuous production requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against delivery documentation.
• Store, organize, and issue materials in accordance with established warehouse procedures.
• Support Kanban replenishment activities to ensure material availability for production operations.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within designated systems.
• Prepare materials for shipping and assist with outbound shipment processing.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures during material handling activities.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, equipment issues, or operational concerns to supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• No minimum education requirement.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
• Ability to perform material handling and warehouse-related tasks, including moving and handling inventory.
• Availability to work onsite in Singapore and support assigned day or night shift schedules.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, stores, shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory-related operations.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution center, or production environments.
• Experience with inventory control, material movement, or Kanban replenishment processes.
• Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory tracking tools.
• Forklift operation experience or relevant material handling certifications.
