Job summary

A food logistics company located in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operator to assist in receiving, storing, and issuing materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations, be physically fit for manual handling duties, and possess familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is essential. The role may involve working in temperature-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, storing and issuing raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Pick, pack and label products in accordance with order requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and movement of food products in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Perform regular stock checks, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and safety within the warehouse.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is required.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
• Comfortable working in a chiller and freezer environment.
• Forklift license is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety practices.
