Responsibilities
- Sets the tables, take orders and delivers the correct food to the tables.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Replace soiled tableware and service items to prepare the table for the next customers.
- Ensure all kitchen ware and crockery is clean and sanitized for safe use in food service.
- Serve food and beverages to ensure all dishes match the order ticket to the corresponding tables.
- Replenish inventory at service stations.
- Suggest areas for continuous improvement within work area.
- Upsell and cross selling where applicable.
- Handle guest requests and complaints effectively.
Requirements
- Secondary Education
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork spirit display to ensure service standards are met.
- Good Service Orientation
- Attentive and meticulous
- Able to work under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently.
- Capable of working well with kitchen staff and ensure customer’s requests are met.
- Ability to perform split-shift duties including weekends, and public holidays
