Overview of the Role

Provide high standard of daily water and meals service to patient in accordance with policies standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and serve meals and beverage services to patient, lodger and visitors.
  • Place, collect and compile patient meal order and attend to special needs/requirements and last minutes’ arrangements.
  • Check meals properly according to patient medical and dietary needs before serving.
  • Involved in setting up and providing food service for meetings and functions.
  • Provide and change daily water jars, mugs and flasks for patient.
  • Ensure sufficient pantry stock and up from store when necessary.
  • Ensure clean and hygienic pantry and ward.
  • Handle patient feedback/ complaint
  • Inspection of patient room daily in preparation of patient's arrival e.g. amenities, replenishment of mini bar and water etc.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient's information.
  • Perform any other job as assigned.
Requirements
  • Secondary school education.
  • Able to speak, write and read English and preferably be able to understand one or more local dialects.
  • Completed all courses conducted by NEA or basic hygiene courses on sanitation and hygiene related or food handling issues.
  • Preferably with some service experiences from hotel, restaurant or institutional establishment.

6 Day work week, max 42 hours on rostered shifts to work on weekdays, weekends and PH.
