Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Bank in managing the distributed system changes with change management, control and deployment.
  • Review and assess risk associated with requested change.
  • Make sound decisions on the upstream and downstream impact of change based upon understanding of the Bank's environment.
  • Establish control processes and procedures to effectively manage change.
  • Drive and contribute to automation initiatives - driving productivity, recommending improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage Operating System Patch management, including evaluation, testing and deployment.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.
  2. Experienced with ITIL methodology, with emphasis on Change and Deployment Management.
  3. Proven experience with operating systems, including one or more of the following:
    • AIX
    • HP-UX
    • RedHat Enterprise Linux
    • Solaris
    • Windows Server
    • VMware
    • XenApp
  4. Working level experience with various systems applications, including:
    • JBoss
    • WebLogic
    • Websphere
    • Connect Direct
    • MQ
    • Kafka
    • OpenShift Container Platform
    • Webservers
  5. Experience with patch management
  6. Experience with automation tools such as BigFix, Chef, etc
  7. Experience with Robotic Process Automation
  8. Experience in Security Audit assessment on operating systems compliance and vulnerability
  9. Provide On-Call 24x7 support on a rotating basis
  10. Self-starter, flexible, good team player and able to work under minimum supervision
  11. Strong in developing processes and maintaining comprehensive documentation
  12. Ability to articulate, possess strong technical communication and interpersonal skills
