This position is within the Global Transaction Service, Financial Institutions Sales & Solutioning team, covering a portfolio of digital asset native clients across DBS' core markets.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be assigned a portfolio of digital assets clients operating across the Digital Asset Ecosystem and will be responsible to help grow this segment.
- Deepen wallet share of the existing client portfolio and develop new client relationships based on target market criteria and a selective due diligence process.
- Responsible for achieving revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.
- Perform client visits and calls regularly with the aim of closing deals offered by GTS (Cash & Custody), transaction FX, and Digital Exchange offerings in accordance with clients' needs.
- Take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery to meet client requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' needs and good knowledge of our Bank's products by working closely with internal stakeholders, such as the coverage team, product, operations, technology, and compliance teams in providing suitable banking solutions to our clients.
- Responsible for minimizing operational and Legal and Compliance risks within the assigned portfolio.
- Participate in ideation and execution of strategic initiatives to bring new offerings to better serve digital asset native clients.
- Collaboratively interact with business partners and stakeholders including FI Relationship Management, Treasury & Markets, Product Management, Tech and Delivery teams to design and implement solutions to increase wallet share for assigned clients and new‑to‑bank prospects.
- Apply a Consultative Sales approach to all client engagements - Continuously engage clients to keep abreast of their evolving business priorities, treasury management practices to proactively position existing and emerging capabilities to address clients' changing situations.
- Understanding local regulatory and compliance landscape and end‑to‑end capabilities that can be supported.
- Ensure that all products and solutions risks are understood and documented, and robust controls are in place, taking into consideration local regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 8-10 years' relevant experience as a Financial Institutions Sales person in Transaction banking, preferably with experience in the digital economy space.
- Good knowledge of the Digital Asset Ecosystem across service providers, intermediaries, issuers, investors, financial services, and technology providers (e.g. custodians, software as a service, surveillance, mining, etc.).
