VP, Specialist, Business Finance (Consumer Banking), Group Finance (WD72491)

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analysis to help the bank in making sound business decisions including product development, customer profitability and capital management. We also provide business planning, forecasting, tax and accounting advisory services.

The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for Singapore Qualification Programme by Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.

Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analysis to help the bank in making sound business decisions including product development, customer profitability and capital management. We also provide business planning, forecasting, tax and accounting advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with CBG Regional Cards, Deposits and Unsecured Financing Solutions (“CDFS”) business to drive target outcome
• Provide insightful financial analysis on Deposits and Secured financing solutions
• Collaborate with location Business Unit Controllers (BUC) to steer business performance
• Provide accounting guidance and ensure compliance with accounting standards and group policies
• Prepare monthly business performance dashboard, drive budgeting and forecasting
• Support new business project or business case, and any ad-hoc business deliverables
• Support in new system migration, eg: business event validation, accounting appropriateness, MIS financial impact assessment and testing

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Business Finance in a bank, preferably consumer bank. CDFS financial knowledge will be highly preferred
• Possess strong analytical skills and communication skills
• Well versed in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Hyperion, Celerity (SQL), PSGL, Tableau
• Independent, self starter and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Highly driven to achieve excellence
• Able to balance big picture and details
• Degree in Accountancy or a Finance related discipline a plus
• Excellent in senior stakeholder management
• Highly collaborative
