Project Manager – Consumer Banking Digital Channels

We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale, complex IT initiatives within the consumer banking digital channels space. In this role, you will shape the customer‑facing technology landscape of a major financial institution. The ideal candidate excels in a fast‑paced environment and follows proven methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• End‑to‑End Project Leadership: Own the definition, documentation, and successful execution of complex projects through the entire lifecycle, from initiation to closure, specifically within consumer banking channel applications (e.g., online and mobile banking).
• Governance & Control: Establish and enforce robust project governance frameworks, including rigorous change control, risk and issue management, and comprehensive testing processes to ensure project integrity.
• Financial & Resource Stewardship: Monitor and control project resources, revenue, and capital expenditures against the approved budget, while proactively managing the expectations of all stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating agreement on project modifications and maintaining a demand register. Prepare and deliver clear, concise status and MIS reports to senior management.
• Strategic Communication: Utilize advanced presentation skills to articulate project vision, status, and complex issues effectively to executive audiences.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years specifically within the banking industry.
• Proven success in delivering complex, large‑scale digital banking project initiatives from conception to implementation.
• Extensive, hands‑on experience managing the entire project lifecycle, with a deep understanding of project planning, execution, and delivery mechanics.
• Current project management accreditation such as PMP or PRINCE2 is highly preferred; additional certification in Agile methodologies is a strong advantage.
• Excellent presentation skills and advanced proficiency in PowerPoint are essential for effective executive‑level communication and reporting.
