Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Private Bank KYC Client Onboarding Review Specialist to ensure AML/KYC profiles comply with regulatory requirements and onboarding standards. You will work with Relationship Managers to finalize profiles and address AML/KYC questions during client onboarding.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years AML experience in Private Banking, familiarity with MAS 626, and strong communication, multitasking, and data-analysis skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years AML experience in Private Banking, familiar with MAS 626 or other international AML/CFT standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking or equivalent; ACAMS or ICA certification considered.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; hands-on and versatile.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Team player, self-motivated and diligent towards goals.

Responsibilities

• To review Private Banking clients' AML/KYC profile for adequacy and compliance with legal, regulatory and policy requirements
• To liaise with Relationship Managers and their Assistants to complete the required AML/KYC profile; provide advisory on AML/KYC requirements
• To ensure timely review of clients' AML/KYC account opening profile
• To clear system generated alerts or perform name screening as part of AML/KYC profile review
• To collaborate with PB Middle Office to deliver best in class onboarding experience
• To proactively identify areas of improvement and suggest viable solutions
• To participate in AML related projects as a content provider or stakeholder
• To perform management reporting and data analysis on account opening
• To ensure no repeat review findings by Compliance and Auditors
