VP of Regulatory Compliance (Digital Asset/Payment) - Mandarin Speaking

We are hiring for one of our clients in the Digital Asset payment industry in Singapore.

What You’ll Do

• Be the go-to expert on Singapore’s Payment Services Act (PSA), digital payment token rules, cross-border transfer rules, Travel Rule, tech risk, and stablecoin requirements.
• Turn complex MAS rules into practical policies and controls for product, tech, and operations teams.
• Run day-to-day compliance: transaction monitoring, wallet screening, sanctions, market surveillance, customer asset protection, and partner due diligence.
• Own relationships with MAS — inspections, reporting, new license applications or changes, and incident handling.
• Work closely with product and engineering on compliant design for wallets, stablecoins, OTC desks, and payment flows.
• Lead or support the Hong Kong MSO license application and set up compliance there.
• Train the team (sales, traders, engineers, leadership) on AML, sanctions, tech risk, etc.

You Need

• 10+ years in payments/crypto/fintech compliance; most ideally in VASP.
• Deep knowledge of MAS PSA, DPT rules, Travel Rule, TRM, and customer asset safeguards.
• Hands‑on experience with blockchain analytics and on‑chain screening tools.
• Proven ability to work with product/engineering teams in fast‑moving startups.
• Hong Kong AMLO/MSO experience is a strong advantage.
• Certifications (CAMS, CGSS, CISSP, etc.) are nice to have.
