Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic HR Leadership : Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, aligning human capital initiatives with corporate strategy, product development cycles, and international expansion objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning : Direct global talent acquisition strategies for specialized technical and creative disciplines. Optimize recruitment efficiency, employer branding, and pipeline development to secure industry-leading talent.
  • Organizational Culture & Employee Experience : Design and implement initiatives that reinforce a culture of psychological safety, inclusion, recognition, and sustainable performance. Proactively address industry challenges including burnout and crunch through structural and cultural interventions.
  • Performance Management & Leadership Development : Establish performance frameworks and career progression models suited to agile, creative environments. Cultivate internal leadership pipelines and continuous learning ecosystems.
  • Total Rewards & Compliance : Oversee the design and administration of competitive, equitable compensation, benefits, and incentive structures. Ensure adherence to employment legislation across all operational jurisdictions.
  • HR Operations & Systems Governance : Lead the evolution of HR technology infrastructure (HRIS, ATS, analytics platforms), workforce planning, budget oversight, and vendor management to ensure operational excellence and data integrity.
  • Employee Relations & Organizational Resilience : Provide executive oversight in complex employee relations matters. Develop and deploy protocols for organizational change, restructuring, and crisis communications with discretion and compassion.
  • Industry Representation & Thought Leadership : Represent [Studio Name] at industry conferences and forums. Collaborate with academic institutions, diversity coalitions, and industry bodies to advance ethical labor practices and talent development in interactive entertainment.
Required Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and transforming HR functions within global, hybrid, or high-growth organizations
  • Comprehensive understanding of game development workflows, talent dynamics, and contemporary labor trends within the interactive entertainment sector
  • Advanced proficiency in HR analytics, systems implementation, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Terminal degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field; professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred
  • Exceptional executive presence, diplomatic acumen, and ability to influence at the C-suite level
