Job summary

OCBC Singapore is seeking a VP, Group Oversight Specialist to lead financial crime compliance for overseas entities. You will assess risks, supervise investigations, and collaborate with local and Group compliance teams to uphold global standards.

With 7–10 years in compliance and ICA/ACAMS preferred, you will shape controls, report to senior management and regulators, and drive efficiencies while preserving customer focus.

Qualifications

  • A degree with minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience preferably in Compliance background.
  • ICA or ACAMS certified preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial crime compliance framework for the overseas entity, conducting regular risk assessments and monitoring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead investigations into suspicious activities and provide guidance to local and Group compliance teams to ensure clear understanding and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with business units on regionalisation plans to integrate financial crime controls without compromising customer centricity.
  • Address and resolve audit queries related to financial crime compliance across entities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce redundancies, and enhance efficiency within compliance functions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and regulators to ensure transparency and accountability.
