As part of the Governance & Liaison team in Group Compliance, the successful candidate plays a key role in the strategy and execution of ongoing engagement and relationship management with MAS, as well as to deliver compliance-related management reports to senior management.
Degree qualification with at least 10 years of work experience, preferably with prior experience working with the local banking regulator. Prior regulatory engagement or governance role at a major financial institution will be an advantage. Demonstrate high level of initiative, pro-activeness and accountability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear, concise materials for regulators and senior executives. Ability to build strong internal and external networks and experience engaging with senior management on strategic regulatory issues. Ability to establish and maintain positive engagement with regulators, internal stakeholders and team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
