Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of global corporate and investment banking clients headquartered across Southeast Asia.
• Leverage strong client networks to originate and onboard new relationships, with a particular focus on companies in the core and core-plus infrastructure sectors.
• Engage confidently with senior client executives, acting as a trusted advisor to identify and structure mutually beneficial business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the bank's global network to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' cross-border financing and advisory needs.
• Develop and maintain client business plans, budgets, and risk proposals; monitor credit exposure, client creditworthiness, and relationship profitability in line with internal performance metrics.
• Serve as a key first line of defence by ensuring all activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements - including KYC and ongoing client risk assessments.

Profile

• At least 8 years' experience managing top-tier corporate and investment banking clients in Southeast Asia and Australia.
• Highly self-motivated and proactive, with strong initiative and a results-driven mindset.
• Effective team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking ability, logical reasoning, and attention to detail, supported by solid quantitative and analytical capabilities; able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
• Sound understanding of credit analysis and hands-on experience with investment banking products, including M&A, advisory, ECM, strategic equity solutions, DCM, and structured finance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related fields; CFA qualification preferred.
