Qualifications

• Min. of 10 years of experience in solutioning for large complex programs with experience in banking solutions.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform, knowledge in AWS and Google Cloud is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Establish & maintain the SMBC virtual private cloud governance policy, standards, guideline, and process
• Design and develop cloud architecture solutions that align with business requirements.
• Lead cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to define cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable.
• Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies.
• Manage migration of legacy systems to the cloud.
• Develop and enforce best practices, policies, and standards for cloud usage.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams on cloud technologies.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
• Reviewing and approving the new cloud services before the implementation
• Reviewing and approving the security configuration of new cloud services before the implementation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Min. of 10 years of experience in solutioning for large complex programs with experience in banking solutions.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform, knowledge in AWS and Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus
