Business Partner & Solutions

You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

What impact can you make in this role?

This role is part of the Digital Enterprise Solutions team and is responsible for partnering with the Corporate Affairs & Communications and Human Resources & Organisation departments to address their technology needs and drive significant process improvements and employee experience through innovative solutions.

What will you do as a Business Analyst?
  • Lead and manage your portfolio of initiatives within the HR and CAC portfolio including the management of stakeholders, existing applications and the management of new requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and Corporate Communication stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed requirements and specifications. Focus on understanding business processes, collect requirements, re-engineer workflows to leverage technology capabilities of custom-built, hybrid and SaaS platforms
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the HR and Corporate Communications business processes and industry trends
  • Work closely with IT and external vendors to ensure the technical feasibility and successful integration of HR applications
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of products, platforms, and projects. Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders on project or change progress, risks, and issues
  • If needed, develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Prioritize features and tasks for products and platforms, tracking and reviewing the product direction frequently. Measure product performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including but not limited to product specifications, wireframes, and user stories
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across all users and teams
What makes you a successful candidate?
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience in IT project management, software development, business analysis, and product management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing systems including enterprise-level software solutions
  • Proven ability to coordinate frontend and backend development activities.
  • Proficiency in frameworks, tools, and platforms relevant to website development and hosting is advantageous
  • Proven experience as a BA preferably within the financial services industry, with a focus on HR solutions (e.g., SuccessFactors) and or managing public websites. Experience with hubspot is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of HR business requirements and regulations. This expertise will help you translate HR needs into compliant and optimized technical solutions, enhancing employee experience and streamlining HR operations.
  • Good team player who is keen to learn, independent, and with strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to iterate through the requirements in phases, ensuring alignment with business sponsor, stakeholders, and product objectives
  • Experience with product management principles, including the ability to own a product, understand outcomes, use data to drive actions and recommendations, and gather user insights would be preferable
