Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Lead Risk Management & Controls: Identify operational risks, elevate Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to management, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Drive Process Re-engineering & Standardization: Challenge existing methods, foster innovation, and re-engineer reconciliation and investigation processes for standardization and improved controls.
  • Utilize Data-Driven Insights & Analytics: Leverage internal and external data, apply analytics, and visualize insights to improve productivity, identify root causes, and achieve Straight Through Processing (STP).
  • Foster Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges and support the Head of Department in leading projects and process improvements.
  • Champion Operational Excellence & Digitalization: Provide User Requirements and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Live Verification for smooth operations, while supporting digitization and automation.
  • Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Manage daily operations of the Consumer Banking Operations team (Deposit & Unsecured lending product), ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Develop & Implement Operational Strategies: Create and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize workflow, enhance productivity, and maintain compliance.
  • Manage & Develop Team: Lead and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar operations leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with a track record of driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide data‑driven insights.
